Hi! It's Me...Mandy

Helllooo there!! My name is Amanda and I love to draw. I started drawing pretty dresses at the age of 5, to designing prom dresses while in high school for the senior girls and eventually that led me into the the doors of "The Fashion Institute of Technology". I have a B.F.A. in Fashion Design and a passion for all things textile. I'm also the very lucky "Auntie Mandy" to two amazing young ladies who live out of state. Since March we've been video chatting about Barbies or practicing our reading with chapter books from our respective living rooms. That has since evolved in doodle sessions as school "let out" for the summer. I opened up the session to a few close friends, in hopes of finding some company for my youngest niece and giving my adult friends some quiet time to prepare lunch or sit back and relax for 60 minutes. I love spending time with kids and stretching their imaginations through art projects with shapes and colors ....and that my friends, is how "Doodles with Mandy" came to be.
